| Body Geometry was developed by the Boulder Center for Sports Medicine to bring a proper riding position within reach for every type and level of bicycle rider. The Body Geometry Fit utilizes dynamic fit techniques to adjust the bicycle to a rider's physical and performance needs, thus giving all cyclists the opportunity to ride successfully for the rest of their life. |
| The 2D Fit provides a safe, neutral, and efficient cycling position. This fit is achieved through correct leg extension and saddle fore/aft positioning, along with proper reach and body weight distribution.
Working with you in the bike shop allows us to quickly substitute parts and make adjustments so that you can experience optimal bike fit. |
The 2D fit is part of every new bicycle sale at Criterium. If you need this fit for a bicycle that you already own, it is available by appointment with a Criterium Fit Specialist for $50.00.

| Correct Mountain Bike Fit requires the same attention to saddle position, reach, and body weight distribution.
For full suspension mountain bikes, tuning the suspension becomes an important key to your riding success on the trail. Criterium staff tune your forks and rear suspension before test rides, and again after you select your bike. We also provide a monthly class to help you learn to tune your own suspension as needed, in the field. |

The 3D Fit utilizes all the techniques of 2D fit, while increasing attention to the details of neutral hip-knee-foot positioning, as well as neck, shoulder, and hand positioning on the bicycle. The 3D Fit includes a more extensive physical assessment off the bicycle, and then applies these discoveries to changes in saddle, pedal, shoe, footbed, stem, and handlebars. To begin the 3D Fit, make an appointment with the Criterium Fit Specialists for the initial assessment. You should expect to spend up to 2 hours for the initial visit. |
| The 3D Fit requires a follow-up visit after the initial appointment. The 3D Fit is $150.00 (or $100.00 w/ the purchase of a bike). Labor for part changes made to bicycle is included in 3D fitting, customer is responsible for parts.

Because Body Geometry adjusts the bicycle to fit the rider, it is most efficient to do the physical assessments, on-bike adjustments, and parts changes at Criterium. The adjustments can often be made the day of your appointment. We stock all of the Body Geometry parts that are designed by Specialized to improve your comfort and efficiency on the bike. Both Alex and Nic have been trained by the Boulder Center for Sports Medicine in the 2D and 3D fit procedures.
Our goal is to make your bicycle feel like an extension of yourself, so that you can enjoy the ride of your life every day. The Body Geometry fit is a dynamic fit system that will accommodate changes in your skill levels and cycling needs/interests. |
| Stop in to make an appointment, or give us a call @ 599-0149 | (For customers with serious physical challenges that require medical imaging, Criterium recommends that you go directly to the Boulder Center for Sports Medicine, where they are able to add medical tools to the fit process. We will work with them to be certain that you can get whatever parts you may need to get the bicycle set up correctly.) |

Specialized has developed a full range of products to improve fit and comfort for bicycle riders. Beginning with their revolutionary saddles in 2000, they have tirelessly focused on the points of contact between rider and bicycle: seat, handlebar, and pedals. Criterium carries a complete stock of these products (and some additional items) to provide exactly what we need for your fit session. |
