Pikes Peak Triathlon Club at Criterium
Criterium provides shop sponsorship for the Pikes Peak Triathlon Club. The club members will have special event nights at the shop for Body Scan, bike maintenance, training talks, and indoor cycling. Non-members are invited to meet other triathletes and aspiring triathletes from the region.
Criterium's strength has always been to provide premier fit service, technical support, and products for the serious beginner. Our commitment to the UCCS Mountain Lions and the Pikes Peak Triathlon Club comes from our legacy of encouraging cyclists to START HERE!

Shaun Riebl races with the UCCS Cycling Club. This is not just a hobby for Shaun--he is working on his Masters Degree in Exercise Science at UCCS, and he has earned certification as a USA Cycling Coach. He also provides expert assemblies for Criterium.

Believe it or not, Shaun is willing to help other cyclists with bike fit issues. See his article on the Velonation site. Fit isn't just for racers!

Fifth Graders Earn Membership on Bike Team
Fifth Graders at Bricker Elementary earned membership in the new Bike Club this spring. The idea came from the fifth grade teacher team, who all enjoy riding bikes and thought it was time to get the kids back on bikes.

Criterium donated helmets to the project, and hosted a tour of the Shop for the bike club members.

Alfonso Rodriquez sent this drawing of his new helmet in a thank-you note to Criterium following their visit.

This counselor from Dale House wears the 'Joseph's Bike Shop' tee shirt that identifies the Bike Program funded by the Nordby Fund. The group attended a maintenance clinic at Criterium in preparation for adding eight new mountain bikes to their fleet.

The Nordby Fund was established by Joseph Nordby's family as a memorial to keep Joseph's commitment to cycling alive in our community. The fund is administered by Medicine Wheel, a bicycle advocacy group.
